1. The olympics are important for big sports companies because the athletes in the world are there and they win the competitions and everybody sees the brand of sportwear that help them to win! This is the perfect advertisement.
2. Workers in the global sportswear industry are paid so little, because the companies must sell their clothes cheaper in order to compete with each other. As a result the workers are paid less money.
3. The jobs in the sportswear industry are never safe because companies often change from supplier to supplier, so that the workers have to follow their job in the company and move into another city or country. But they can't always do that because they haven't got enough money. Thus they lose their jobs. (Alternative: The jobs in the sportswear industry are never safe because companies often change their suppliers as they compete for the lowest prices. When the suppliers have no money and work they can't pay the wages or employ their workers any more.)
4. The workers aren't able to improve their own lives because they can't refuse overtime work. If they did this, they wouldn't get enough money for their families or would be fired! So they have to work the whole time although they're tired.
